In the summer the slopes are covered in vividly coloured wild flowers and the Mountains become very popular with tourists looking for
mountain biking and hiking. The UCI mountain bike world cup normally takes place in Schladming but has relocated for now due to ongoing
improvements to prepare for the 2013 championships. There are also downhill runs for go karts and toboggans that measure up to 7km long.
